ーI get a painful sensation on the left side of my stomach before and after my period.
「生理の前後にお腹の左側に痛い感覚がある」

ですが、次のように言った方がもっと自然な感じで良いでしょう。
ーThe left side of my stomach always gets sore before and after my period.
「生理の前後にいつもお腹の左側が痛くなる」
