例えば自分でノートなどに書いたものが見つからないなら、次のように言えます。
ーI wrote them down somewhere, but I can't find it.
「どこかに書いたんだけど見つからない」
もし教科書などに書いてあったものが見つからないなら、次のように言えます。
ーI saw it somewhere in my textbook, but I don't see it right now.
「テキストのどこかで見たんだけど、見つからない」
