noon は「[正午](https://eikaiwa.dmm.com/uknow/questions/42566/)、真昼」、midnight は「午前零時、[真夜中](https://eikaiwa.dmm.com/uknow/questions/89093/)」という意味です。
I arrived in London at noon. = 私は昼の12時にロンドンに着いた。
My son come home at midnight. = 息子は夜の12時に家に帰ってきた。
という風に使います。
twelve in the morning/in the evening はそれぞれ「午前12時、夜12時」になります。
例：
A: Let's meet at 12:00.
12時に会いましょう。
B: Do you mean at noon or midnight?

While the terms "12 at night" and "12 in the morning" are perfectly correct, they can be a little confusing even for native speakers. The best and clearest way to refer to these times are "Noon" for 12 PM and "Midnight" for 12AM. In a more general sense, you can say "Middle of the night" which could be any time for around 12PM to 4AM.

12 noon / 12 midnight といった言い方もします。他には、正午は 12:00、午前０時は 0:00 もしくは 24:00 のように表記しても伝わるかと思います。
