I'm in the accounting department.
などというのが通常です。
「[所属](https://eikaiwa.dmm.com/uknow/questions/32159/)している」は直訳すると確かに「belong to」ですが、[会社](https://eikaiwa.dmm.com/uknow/questions/36366/)の場合「配属されている」という意味合いが強いと思うので、「I am in the accounting department」という方がニュアンス的に近いと思います。ご参考にしていただければ幸いです。
