"Get-together"（名詞）はカジュアルな[集まり](https://eikaiwa.dmm.com/uknow/questions/59598/)を意味します。
特別な目的はないけどみんなで集まって飲む時にも使える表現です。
もし友達同士とするいつもの飲み会なら"A get-together with my friends"です。
アメリカで、友達や、チームメートと集まって、食べたり飲んだり喋ったりする会は「party」と言います。例えば、「I’m having a party with my teammates tonight. （今夜チームメートと食事会がある。）」居酒屋やバーに行く時は「I’m going out for a drink with my teammates. (今夜チームメートと飲みに行きます。）」でもいいです。
「Party」の他に、「get-together」と「gathering」もありますが、「party」の方がネイティブ同士で一番よく使われてると思います。

「クラブサークルの懇親会」の場合は長い間に会っていないグループの集まりだから「reunion」を使って表現します。
「クラブサークル懇親会」→「Club reunion」
「忘年会」→「End of the year drinking party」、「End of the year get-together」
「新年会」→「New year’s drinking party」、「New year’s get-together」
例文：
「12月に忘年会が多いです」
→「There are many end of the year drinking parties in December」
