今回紹介させて頂く英文のポイントは
not to mention ～で、「～は言うまでもなく」
という意味です。
お尋ねの「並んで」とは少しニュアンスが
異なりますが、参考にしていただけますと幸いです。

Par = equal to or similar to someone or something:
"In my opinion, none of the new jazz trumpeters are on a par with the incredible Miles Davis."
Iconic = extremely well-known, relating to or of the nature of an icon.
"He became an iconic figure for directors around the world"
Par(同等) = 誰かまたは何かと同じか似ているという意味です。
"In my opinion, none of the new jazz trumpeters are on a par with the incredible Miles Davis."
(私は個人的にそれらの新しいジャズドランペット奏者達はあの素晴らしいマイルス・デイヴィスと同等であると思います)
Iconic(象徴的な) = 非常によく知られている、あこがれや崇拝の的となるものに関連しているまたはそのようなものの性質を帯びているもののことです。
"He became an iconic figure for directors around the world"
(彼は世界中の監督にとって伝説的な人物となりました)
In my opinion..Ramen is just as popular as sushi...
When something is said to be..."just as popular" as something else...they in fact share "comparable fame" or "have equal status".
The most usual /common phrase used in my experience...is "just as popular as..."
何かが他の何かと同じくらい人気があると言われている場合は、「同等の人気」を得ている、または「同等の位置」にいます。
私の経験からして最も一般的なフレーズは "just as popular as..."（…と同じくらい人気がある）です。
>Ramen and sushi are equally famous.
*equally famous= the same level of famous.
>Both Ramen and sushi are extremely well known.
extremely well known means that both are recognized on the same level.

「equally famous」とは同じくらい有名ということを意味します。
Both Ramen and sushi are extremely well known.
両方とも同じくらい知られているということを意味します。
We can use the phrase, "as famous as," to show that the comparison of two things are equal to each other and there is no difference in popularity. We can also use the word, "both," to show that the two things are tied together and will share an adjective like, "famous," together.
