These sheets have not been changed. Could someone please do something about it?

You tip him generously, sit down and drink a refreshing glass of bourbon, and decide to take a nap after your transatlantic flight. To 'Replace' something is to find or use something very similar if not the same and replace/re use it.

If I was talking to a hotel staff member (either on the phone or in person), I would say: "Hello. I'm sorry to bother you, but there seem to be some hairs on the bed sheets and I'm hoping to have them changed." This is a polite way of letting the person know what the problem is and how you would like it to be fixed.
