Will ~~ start soon? 「もうすぐ～～が始まるの？」
"soon"=「もうすぐ、まもなく」という意味で、会話文では文章の最後につけることが多いです。
逆に「もうすぐ終わるの？」と聞きたいときは、
Will the class end soon?
と言います。
例文
Will the store close soon? もうすぐお店がしまりますか？
Will the train some soon? もうすぐで電車がきますか？
Will you call me back soon? すぐに折り返し電話くれますか？
There are a couple of ways to say "もうすぐ( ~ )" in English. I like to use "about to."
In the situation you described, you can use "is class about to start?" You can use about like this, too:
- Is class about to end?
- Is the movie about to start?
- Is the concert about to start?
