何時か聞くとき、
Do you have the time?とも言います。
the time =何時を尋ねるときの時間
一方、theをつけないで尋ねると、
Do you have time?
今時間ある？
という意味に使えます。
To be polite, it is good to say "excuse me" and "please." You can also say, "excuse me, do you know what time it is?"
丁寧にいう場合、 "excuse me"や"please."などをつけて聞けば大丈夫です。

But in being polite we could say: "Excuse me can you tell what the time is?"
何時かを聞くのにたくさんの言い方があります。

しかし、丁寧な表現となると、
