買い物しようと行った時に限って閉店でしたって英語でなんて言うの？

気に入りの店がなくなると本当にショックですね！

こちら考えました：

●I went to go check out my favourite shop, but when I got there I found out it had closed down!
→気に入りのお店で買い物しようと思って、行ったら閉店だった！
→この場合のCheck outが　見に行く、遊びに行く、ウィンドウショッピングしに行く
→but when I got there→お店に着いたら
→I found out it had closed down→閉店したと分かった
→Closed downがClosed（閉まってる、時間外で営業してない）と違って閉店との意味です。またはIt had gone out of business→もう営業してない（閉店）。

お店が閉店になってショック→It really bummed me out to find out that the shop had closed down.

ショックでしたね。残念ですね。営業してた当時で購入した商品はどうぞ大事に使ってくださいね！It's sad isn't it? It's a shame. If you still have items left from when the shop was open that you purchased at the time, please look after them with care!

〜時に限って = just when 〜, exactly when 〜
