また、相手に対してもしかしたら失礼になるかもしれないことを聞きたい時には、よく、I'm just wondering if...という表現で始めます。「〜かどうか、ちょっと思ったりしちゃってるんだけど・・・」という感じです。せっかく教えてくれたのに疑っているので、少し遠慮がちに聞いています。
他にも、明日自分の誕生日パーティーに来てほしいけど、あまり強く押すと相手が嫌な気持ちになってしまうかも・・・でも誘いたい・・・という時にも、控えめに、
I'm just wondering if you are available tomorrow...
なんて聞いたりもします。
ちなみに充電ができているかと聞きたい時は、

とよく言いますね。
