Many people would say that all of history is just supposition and conjecture! (Those are fancy words that mean guesses.)
If you don't want to believe anything that you haven't seen yourself, you can say, "Well, I haven't seen it with my own eyes, so I don't believe it."
If we're talking about history we could say, "
No one knows how the pyramids were built, because none of us saw it with our own eyes."
A little skepticism is always good, I admire that! :D
Have a great day!!
Well, I haven't seen it with my own eyes, so I don't believe it."
具体的に歴史のことについていうならば "No one knows how the pyramids were built, because none of us saw it with our own eyes."
It is difficult to prove what you haven't seen for yourself.

I have to see it for myself in order to believe it.
When trying to explain that history from a textbook may not be true because nobody at present was there to see it, you can say:
It is difficult to prove what you haven't seen for yourself.
To prove - To clarify, to put to the test and achieve a positive result.

Seeing is believing.
This means that when you see something for yourself, you can believe it.
I have to see it for myself in order to believe it
This means that when you can see something with your own eyes, you will believe it.
I hope that helps!
It is difficult to prove what you haven't seen for yourself.

History books are just general information about past events it is not the complete story.
History books are basic information and not the full story so we will never know what really happened.
You can't see what happened in the past so you don't know if it is accurate.
It is difficult to prove what you haven't seen for yourself.
"You can't see what happened in the past so you don't know if it is accurate."
"You can't see what happened in the past"
This explains that you can not see it with your own eyes.
"It is difficult to prove what you haven't seen for yourself."
So if you have not seen it you can not prove it happened.
"You can't see what happened in the past so you don't know if it is accurate."
"You can't see what happened in the past"
"It is difficult to prove what you haven't seen for yourself." So if you have not seen it you can not prove it happened.
Anyone can write history. It may be true, a dream or a lie. We should question everything!
I do not blindly accept historical information presented as fact
My belief is that if I did not see it, it may not have happened
It's great that you are questioning the facts that are presented as history. They say that history is written by the victors, so many of the truths and details of the incredible feats of heroism and personal losses endured by the losers may well be suppressed or censored at a later time. There are people who deny the holocaust for example, but because of the incredible body of film, photographs and other media which represents in great detail these tragic events, such people are seen as extremely deluded individuals.
You can't be a witness of the past described in the history books,
You can't go and check what happened in the past
It's impossible to see the events in the past with our own eyes,
You can't be a witness of the past described in the history books.
You can't go and check what happened in the past.
3) It's impossible to see the events in the past with our own eyes.
