"As soon as I clean my glasses they get dirty." This explains that even though you clean them your glasses get dirty very quickly.

"My glasses always seem to be dirty even though I clean them." This explains that even though you clean your glasses often they seem to get dirty.
"As soon as I clean my glasses they get dirty."

"My glasses always seem to be dirty even though I clean them."

  • 1. My glasses are perpetually grubby despite my cleaning them regularly

  • 2. The mysterious thing about my glasses is that they are impossible to clean!

    play icon

1. This sentence explains what is happening with your constantly-grubby glasses.
2. This sentence expresses your exasperation that you cannot clean your glases.
Perpetually - means, in a way that never ends or changes; constantly.
"Teenage boys are perpetually hungry."
Grubby - smeary, dirty, grimey, dusty, looking as thoough cleaning is required, dingy.
"Please keep your grubby fingers away from my glass table!"

"Teenage boys are perpetually hungry."

"Please keep your grubby fingers away from my glass table!"

  • My glasses get dirty easily.

  • No matter how much I clean my glasses they always seem to be dirty.

  • My glasses get dirty very quickly, I need to clean them very often.

    play icon

"My glasses get dirty very quickly, I need to clean them very regularly." Saying you need to do something regularly would let the listener know that you do it often but it still doesn't help.
My glasses get dirty very quickly, I need to clean them very regularly."

  • 1. I can never get my glasses clean.

  • 2. I can't seem to keep my glasses clean.

    play icon

1. This phrase implies that you do clean your glasses but they always look dirty. By saying 'never', it shows your attempts always fail no matter how hard you try.
"No matter how hard I try, I can never get them clean".
2. This phrase means that your glasses are always dirty, or that they don't stay clean for very long.
"No matter how hard I try, I can never get them clean".(どれだけやってみても、きれいにすることができない)

  • My glasses always get dirty from dust or fingerprints no matter how often I wipe them.

  • It doesn't matter how often I wipe my glasses, they always get dirty from dust

  • It doesn't matter how often I wipe my glasses, they always get smudged with fingerprints.

When you want to explain that your glasses are always dirty because of dust and/or fingerprints no matter how often you try to wipe them; then you may say it in the following ways:
-My glasses always get dirty from dust or fingerprints no matter how often I wipe them.
-It doesn't matter how often I wipe my glasses, they always get dirty from dust
-It doesn't matter how often I wipe my glasses, they always get smudged with fingerprints.

-My glasses always get dirty from dust or fingerprints no matter how often I wipe them.

-It doesn't matter how often I wipe my glasses, they always get dirty from dust

-It doesn't matter how often I wipe my glasses, they always get smudged with fingerprints.

  • My glasses still get dirty, even if i keep cleaning them!

  • Even though i always clean them, my glasses still get dirty!

    play icon

To use the word 'still' means that even though you do something the same thing 'still' keeps happening
So you could say 'My glasses still get dirty, even if i keep cleaning them!' another way of saying this is
'Even though i always clean them, my glasses still get dirty!'

My glasses still get dirty, even if i keep cleaning them!

Even though i always clean them, my glasses still get dirty!
