Mr. Andrew
Ms. Lisa
This depends on your teacher.
Some of my Japanese students just want to be called by their name and not OO-san.
This is the same for teachers.
I prefer to be called Jane - not Teacher Jane.
If you do not want to offend your teacher then ask them what they prefer to be called.
Hope this helps :)
Jane
Probably the best way of addressing an online teacher is by saying, 'Teacher X' where X is the first name of the teacher. So, for example, you could say, 'Teacher Robert.'...or even, 'Robert.' If you are in any doubt, the best idea is to ask your teacher how they would like to be called during the lessons. I'm sure they will be happy to tell you this information.
"Please call me teacher Alladin."
What should I call you?
Please call me XXXX.
A) Teacher (name)
Example - Thank you for the lesson teacher Ilke!
B) Just by their first name
Example - Thank you for the lesson Ilke!
C) What would you like me to call you? - in this case you will get an answer from the teacher indicating what you should call him/ her.For example
Student :What would you like me to call you?
Teacher :Ilke would be fine
I hope this helps :-)
A) Teacherと名前
Example - Thank you for the lesson teacher Ilke!
B) first name飲み
Example - Thank you for the lesson Ilke!
C) What would you like me to call you?
Student :What would you like me to call you?
Teacher :Ilke would be fine llke
When it comes to how you will address your English it depends on each teacher, as people have different prefrences on how you address them. The best way to find out how your teacher would like to be addressed is to ask him/her.
Here are some of the more common ways for teachers to be addressed:-
1. Mr John / Ms. Jane
2. Teacher - Some students address their teacher as just "teacher"
3. Wendy, Paula, Sue etc
1. Mr John / Ms. Jane(ジョン先生/ジェーン先生)
3. Wendy, Paula, Sue etc(ウェンディー、ポーラ、スーなど)
To be honest, I think just using their name is absolutely fine because in English culture, for example, people call each other by their names in any situation.
I am an online teacher and I ask my student to just call me by my name. In Ireland and the UK we do not have an equivalent to '-san'.
In a school classroom, it is more common to call a teacher by Mr or Miss and the surname. Example: Mr. Ball or Miss. Ball.
