I'm in the process of enrolling in an English school
I'm in the process of enrolling in an English school. This phrase indicates you are busy organising things so that you will attend school. To enroll means to put yourself on an official list to do something. It relieves you from having to say I am not working as it indicates you will be going to school and therefore will not work.
「I'm in the process of enrolling in an English school(英会話学校に入る手続きをしています)」は「学校に入るための準備で忙しい」というニュアンスになります。"enroll" は「(~する)登録をする」という意味です。「学校に行くので働かない」と伝わると思います。「仕事をしてません(I am not working)」と言わずに済みます。
I'm not working at the moment but I'm thinking of going back to school.
I don't have a job right now but I want to go back to school and study English.
at the moment: is a phrase that is commonly used that means something happening right now.
"How are you finding the new apartment?"
"At the moment, it's still a bit weird to be living alone!"
If you went to school previously and are thinking of going to school just add the word "back" like in the phrases above but if this is the first time you go to school, then no need for it!
Hope this helps!
at the moment:よく使われるフレーズです。今起こっていることを表します。
例:
How are you finding the new apartment?
新しいアパートをどんな感じ。
At the moment, it's still a bit weird to be living alone!
一人で住むのは、今、まだ少し変に思います!
以前学校に通っていて、また学校に通うことを考えてる場合、上記のフレーズにあるようにbackという単語を付け加えて下さい。初めて学校に通う場合は、backは必要ありません。
これが役立つことを願います!
The three sentences you see above are excellent ways to express that you currently are not working. In the last sentence you will notice the term between jobs. We use this term in English to express that we are unemployed. This term is common in our everyday conversation and would be a great addition to your vocabulary.
I am not working currently. I am thinking of going to an English school.
I am jobless at present. I am contemplating going to an English school.
I am unemployed presently because I am considering going to an English school.
We use the adverb 'currently' to mean 'at present' or 'presently'. The phrase 'not working' can be used in place of the adjectives 'jobless' or 'unemployed' These words are interchangeable and can be used in place of 'not working'. When the verb to 'contemplate' is used, it actually means to 'think deeply' or to 'consider'.
So, you may say:
I am not working currently. I am thinking of going to an English school.
or
I am jobless at present. I am contemplating going to an English school.
or
I am unemployed presently because I am considering going to an English school.
副詞 'currently'は、現在という意味です。 'not working'は、形容詞 'jobless'(仕事のない) または 'unemployed' (無職の)という意味です。これらは、置き換えることができ、 'not working'の代わりとして使うことができます。動詞'contemplate'とは、 'think deeply'(深く考える) または 'consider'(考慮する)という意味です。
I am not working currently. I am thinking of going to an English school.
現在、働いていません。英語の学校に通うのを考えています。
I am jobless at present. I am contemplating going to an English school.
今は仕事をしていません。英語の学校に通うことを考えています。
