In the old days, a rather formal form of address to your father was, 'Pater' which was the Latin for 'father'. These days it may be heard sometimes in period films, for example, films based on books by Charles Dickens. 'Dada' is typically used by younger children, changing to 'Dad' or 'Daddy' as the child grows up.
Paps and pappy are less common in the UK.
Most people simply say "dad" but it all depends on the person and their relationship with their father.
If they are close to their dad then they might call him "daddy" and some people may say "pops" but pops is only used to address him, you wouldn't talk to other people about your father by saying "my pops".
And sometimes when people talk about their dad they might refer to him as "my old man" if they feel comfortable.

An informal term for father.It could also be used to address any older man.
e.g. My pops and my ma have gone to buy some things for the house in town.(meaning father)

"Old man"
This is also another way of referring to your father.
e.g My old man is the strongest man you'll ever meet.
"Pa"
Father.Comes from the word "Papa" ,used to address one's father in most Latin-based languages.
e.g "Pa is busy on the telephone"
"Pops"

In English the usual word to use is DAD.

Over time we have taken on some "Americanisms" .. like POP or POPS
or the "Italian/Latin Pappa"
(or in Rock n roll Daddio!)
But mainly, the favourite is... just plain old "DAD"
