また、おととしの夏や、再来年の春、など季節をプラスした表現も教えてください！おととしの夏、野球部に入って以来毎日練習に励んでいます。

the summer before last
I joined the baseball club two years ago(the year before last). I have practiced very hard since.

「昨年」や「来年」は良く使う英単語ですが、「一昨年」や「再来年」は“その年の前”、“その年の後”と考えてみるといいと思います。 3年後　　　　　　three years later 2年後（再来年） two years later ( the year after next ) 1年後（来年）　　next year 今年　　　　　　　this year 1年前（去年）　　last year 2年前（一昨年）　　two years ago ( the year before last ) また、おととしの夏…などの表現は上記の「一昨年」という表現のyearを季節に変えると大丈夫です。一昨年の夏　the Summer before last 再来年の春　the Spring after next

last last year/ next next year

「去年」は英語で last year. 再来年」は英語でnext year. とてもシンプルな言い方ですが、last を二回、nextを二回使うと、表現が成り立ちます。「一昨年」＝last last year. 「再来年」=next next year. もしくは、「一昨年」＝2 years ago. 「再来年」=2 years after.
