裏って英語でなんて言うの？

裏は英語で behind と言います。

例）

パン屋さんが薬局の裏にある
The bakery is behind the drugstore

裏を読む
read what's behind people's words
read what's behind people's actions

「裏を読む」＝ read between the lines
（人が本当に考える事を理解するという意味になる）

例えば、
She is not good at reading between the lines. / She can't read between the lines.
（彼女は裏を読めない。）

「単純に物体の裏側のこと」＝　the reverse side / the other side / the back (of the ～）

「裏」は英語で単純に behind/ back と言えます。両方も「後ろ」の意味があります。
It looks like there’s a parking lot behind that school.
その学校の裏に駐車場がありそうです。
Please look at the back of the paper.
紙の裏目に見てください。

「裏を読む」は英語で表現があります。To read between the lines は「文と文が書いてない間に読む」という意味です。はっきり言ってない時に使われています。
例えば、
Read between the lines. She does’t want to date you.
裏を読んで。彼女が君と付き合いたくない。
