駅前広場って英語でなんて言うの？

「広場」は英語で「(public) square」や「plaza」と言います。「plaza」は元々スペイン語（＝広場）でしたが、英語でも使われるようになりました。私はイギリス人で、殆どのイギリスの古い町には「town square」（広場）があります。

この場合、the open space in front of the station でも通じますが、the square in front of the station 又は the plaza in front of the station の方がナチュラルです。

アメリカとイギリスは square の方を使うことが多いです、plaza でも大丈夫なはずです。
