自己紹介って英語でなんて言うの？

例えば、
今日は簡単な自己紹介とさせていただきたいと思いますーPlease allow me to briefly introduce myself today.

自己紹介が「self introduction」ですが、「紹介」と言う動詞が「to introduce」になります。

例文：
自己紹介させていただきます。
ー Allow me to introduce myself

自己紹介をして下さい。
ー Please introduce yourself

私はまず自己紹介をさせていただきます。
ー First, I'll start with a short introduction.

自己紹介によく含まれている情報が：

「自己紹介」という言葉は英語で「Self introduction」と言います。「Self」という言葉の意味は「自分で」になります。そして、「introduction」は「紹介」になります。
To introduce someone は誰かを紹介するという意味なので、self introduce というのは自分で紹介するということになります。

誰かに自己紹介をお願いしたい時に自然と聞こえる言い方は「Please introduce yourself」＝自己紹介お願いします。

例えば：
Please allow me to introduce myself. My name is __, I come from __〜

自己紹介させていただきます。__と申します、__から来ました〜

「自己紹介」は英語では「Self introduction」になります。

「彼は20歳で、大学生で東京出身だよー」は「He is 20 years old, I am a college student and I'm from Tokyo」になります。

"introduction"（名詞）は「自己紹介」を意味します。"self introduction"も言えますけどアメリカ英語では文脈で当たり前なので"self"が不要です。個人的に言えば、この意味の"introduction"はちょっと硬くて不自然な表現だと思います。

"to introduce yourself/myself"（動詞）も「自己紹介」を意味します。これはアメリカ英語では一番自然な言い方だです。日常会話でもビジネスでもこの言い方がよく使われています。

"to tell us/them who you are"（動詞）も「自己紹介」を意味しますが、「名前を教える」印象が強いです。例えば、受付の方に自分の名前を教えるときに相応しいです。

例文一：
I gave an introduction on the first day of work, and told everyone that I am a twenty year-old college student from Tokyo.
バイトの最初の日に、皆さんに「私は20歳で、大学生で東京出身だよ」と言いました。

例文二：
I introduced myself on the first day of work, and told everyone that I am a twenty year-old college student from Tokyo.
バイトの最初の日に、皆さんに「私は20歳で、大学生で東京出身だよ」と言いました。

例文三：
When you get to our office, please go to the front desk and tell them who you are.
弊社のオフィスに着くと、受付に行って名前を教えてください。
