条件付けの「～のかわりに」って英語でなんて言うの？

「代わりに」は instead 一語で言えます。 たとえば、 　There was no single rooms, so I booked a double instead. 　（ダブルの部屋がなかったので、代わりにシングルを予約した。） そこで、「私が～をするから、その代わりに、あなたは～をして」は 　I'll do A. So could you do B instead? となります。
