Neputas can be seen one after another parading through the center of the street.

「parade」で合ってます。
「Neputas parade through〜」でも通じますが、ご質問にあった「次から次へと」→「one after another」という表現を入れて訳してみました。
他に、「go forward in a parade」→「列をなして進む」なんて言い方でもいいと思います。

「道を通る」はgo down the streetですが、「通りの真ん中」ですから、
