炭酸って英語でなんて言うの？

Carbonated beverages have different names depending on where you are located. In Australia, a carbonated beverage is called a "soft drink" or "fizzy drink".

The most popular description of a a soda type drink with bubbles is 'fizzy drink'. Such drinks as lemonade and Coke or Pepsi may also be referred to as 'pop'.

The first word "POP" is one of the names that can be given to a carbonated drink. It's called "POP" because of the sound that the beverage makes when you open it. The word "POP" is normally associated with flavored carbonated drinks.

The second word, "SOFT DRINK" is a more common expression in the native american language when referring to a carbonated drink. The word "SOFT DRINK" can be used to reference to any carbonated drink that is not necessarily flavored.

Although some people refer to fizzy/carbonated drinks as 'soda' this is more of an american term as soda in the UK is soda water
