  • Giraffes eat the leaves at the top of the tree.

Giraffes eat the leaves at the top of the tree. Giraffes eat the leaves at the top of the tree. Pigs eat the leaves at the bottom. Elephants (have long noses so they) can even reach the apples at the top of the tree.

  • Girraffes mainly eat the leaves at the top of the trees.

This is saying that the main source off food for giraffes are the leaves at the top of the tree. If someone has not see a giraffe before they would not assume that it would be because of their long necks. So more concentration would have been required in a following sentence to explain why. For example: Giraffes mainly eat the leaves at the top of the trees because of their exceptionaly long necks.
Giraffes mainly eat the leaves at the top of the trees because of their exceptionaly long necks.

  • Because of their long necks, Girrafes find it easier to eat the leaves at the top of trees.

"Because of their long necks, Girrafes find it easier to eat the leaves at the top of trees." In this expression, you are explaining to your young ones the reason why Girrafes eat from the top of the tree. This way they have a better grasp as to why they do it. It is very simple so you will not confuse them giving them a long explanation. This expression is clear, concise and to the point.
"Because of their long necks, Girrafes find it easier to eat the leaves at the top of trees."

  • Giraffes have the ability to eat leaves on tree tops because they have long legs and long necks.

  • It's interesting to watch giraffes eat leaves from tree tops with ease because their long legs and long necks enable them to do so.

There is no other animal that eats tree leaves from the top of trees except th e giraffe. This is because the giraffe is the tallest animal on earth. The giraffe is so tall because of it's long legs and it's long neck. The average height of a giraffe is between 5 and 6 meters according to zoologists. That is why giraffes are able to eat leaves from tree tops. They do this with 'ease'. The noun 'ease' used in the second statement means 'without difficulty'. So, you may tell someone who has never seen a giraffe physically at a zoo as follows: Giraffes have the ability to eat leaves on tree tops because they have long legs and long necks. or It's interesting to watch giraffes eat leaves from tree tops with ease because their long legs and long necks enable them to do so.
Giraffes have the ability to eat leaves on tree tops because they have long legs and long necks. (キリンは長い脚と長い首のおかげで、木のてっぺんの葉っぱを食べることができます) It's interesting to watch giraffes eat leaves from tree tops with ease because their long legs and long necks enable them to do so.

  • Giraffes like to eat the leaves at the top of trees

  • Giraffes have long necks, so they like to eat leaves at the top of trees

  • The leaves at the top of trees are food for giraffes

When explaining to a child, it is probably necessary when explaining what giraffes eat, to point out that giraffes have very long necks and this is why they have to eat the leaves at the top of trees, otherwise this might be confusing for a child. There are many ways to phrase this idea. If you wanted to make it more interesting you could also say: 'When giraffes are hungry, they like to eat the leaves at the top of trees' 'Leaves at the top of trees are giraffe's favourite food'
'When giraffes are hungry, they like to eat the leaves at the top of trees'(キリンはお腹がすくと、木の一番上の葉っぱを食べます) 'Leaves at the top of trees are giraffe's favourite food'(木の一番上の葉っぱはキリンの大好物です)

  • Giraffes will eat leaves that are at the top of trees.

  • Leave at the top of the trees will be eaten by the giraffes.

"Giraffes will eat leaves that are at the top of trees." the sentence is referring to the 'giraffes' (the animal which has a very long neck and is often found in Africa). "Leave at the top of the trees will be eaten by the giraffes." This is a more formal statement, for something to be 'Eaten' is often used in the past tense, describing something that had been consumed/to eat.
"Giraffes will eat leaves that are at the top of trees."(キリンは木の一番上の葉っぱを食べます) は、'giraffes'(キリン)について言っています。' "Leaves at the top of the trees will be eaten by the giraffes."(木の一番上の葉っぱはキリンが食べます) は、よりフォーマルな言い方です。'
