「反対する」→「To oppose, To dispute」
「賛成する」→「To agree」
例：
「私の意見に反対してるか、それとも賛成してるかをはっきり言ってくださいよ」
「Please tell me clearly if you are agreeing or opposing/disputing my opinion」
「彼はいつも私のアイデアに反対します」
「He always opposes my ideas.」
Oppose は相手の意見に賛成しない、という意味ですが、反対するという行為も含まれます。object の意味も相手の意見や提案に賛成しないことです。この二つの表現の意味は近いです。
例えば：
I’m opposed to his plan. （私は彼の計画に反対です。）
He objected to all my proposals. （彼は私の全ての提案に反対しました。）
何かに「反対する」ことは英語で「disagree with」と「be against」で表現できます。
例文：
「あの政治家に反対します」
→「I am against that politician」
→「I disagree with that politician」
「お父さんの考え方に反対しています」
→「I disagree with my father's way of thinking」
→「I am against my father's way of thinking」

1. There will always be those overly argumentative people who will disagree with anything you have to say.

overly argumentative = 論争的すぎるさま
（argumentative という形容詞は、positiveな使い方もありますが）
何をいっても反対する人っています
2. There will always be those slightly annoying people who will start arguing with you for no apparent reason.
to argue = discussに近い意味ですが、ほとんどの場合は、negativeなニュアンスを持つことばです。
3. There is no way to win an argument with people who are always looking for a fight.
いつもけんかしたい人に対しては、議論で太刀打ちできないわけです。
