medicine for hay fever; Why don't you take a nap for awhile?

The medicine I took is making me fall asleep. The medicine I took is making me drowsy.

  • I had some medicine and it has made me feel drowsy.

  • I'm feeling drowsy after taking my medicine.

  • I took some medicine and now I am drowsy.

    play icon

In all of these sentences you can also specify what the medicine is if you want to. It is fine to say 'it made me feel drowsy', 'I'm feeling drowsy', 'I feel drowsy', 'I am drowsy', 'it's made me drowsy'. You could also replace the word drowsy for 'sleepy' as they mean the same thing. Being drowsy is often a side effect of taking medicine so this will make sense to another English speaking person. If you do feel drowsy after medicine, be sure that you do not drive anywhere!
'It made me feel drowsy'(眠くなった) 'I'm feeling drowsy'(眠い) 'I feel drowsy'(眠い) 'I am drowsy'(眠い) 'It's made me drowsy'(眠い) ↑これらどれも使えます。

I took some medicine for hay fever and now I'm drowsy. The medicine for hay fever is making me sleepy!
