前置詞合ってますかって英語でなんて言うの？

Prepositions are super-difficult in English, especially for Japanese learners. They are completely illogical! You just have to memorize which prepositions go with which words, and sometimes there is more than one correct answer. Many times, my students will ask "Why do you use this preposition here?" I have to just shrug and say: "Sorry, that's just the way we say it!"

"Right" means "correct." This sentence is an easy and direct way to ask your teacher about the preposition. I hope that this helps! :)

All of these answers above are a correct way to check with someone if you used a preposition correctly. Prepositions can be tricky to get right at first for non native speakers and so it is perfectly okay to check with someone that you used it correctly.

When you want to ask if you've used the correct preposition; then you can say: -Did I use the correct preposition in this sentence? -Is that the correct preposition?

"Was that the correct preposition?" Asking this question will let the person you are speaking with knows that you are wanting to know if you are using the correct preposition.

As there may have bneen more than one preposition in your sentence, it may be better to identify the preposition that you are unsure about. "Was 'under' the correct preposition?"
