廃棄って英語でなんて言うの？

廃棄は discard、dispose という言葉もありますが、少し硬い言い方になります。 Clean up, throw away, get rid of は一般的に使われている言葉です。 I want to get rid of things we don’t need. 「廃棄」の一つの言い方は dispose of です。例えば「会社の中にある要らないものを定期的に廃棄する」は I regularly dispose of unnecessary things at the office と言えます。 しかし、dispose of はちょっとフォーマルな言い方です。一般的には throw out 又は throw away と言います。Throw out と throw away はニュアンスが同じです。なので、I regularly throw out/throw away unnecessary things at the office と言えます。 ご参考になれば幸いです。
