観察って英語でなんて言うの？

"to watch" ←何か動いている物を見ることです。

"to look at" ←何かを見ることです。動いているかどうか、関係ありません。

"to observe" ←何か動き・変化する物を見ることです。科学的な意味合いがあるから、楽しみのためにやっているなら、"to observe"と言いません。

また、「野菜」を"vegetable plants"に英訳したいと思います。"vegetables"だけ言えば、もう取った食べれる部分を指摘しているみたいです。"vegetable plants"は生きている野菜の植物を示します。

「毎日大きくなる野菜を観察しています。」の例文：

普通観察と言う単語は「Observe」を使いますが、質問者様の場合はそんなに固い観察ではないので、「Watch」が良いと思います。
