ガソリンスタンドにて、洗車中の店員A「うーん、大体こんなもんかな。」店長「終わった？」A「はい、終わりました。」店長「じゃー、休憩して良いよ。」=A:Hmm,that should pretty much do.Boss:Are you done with that? A:Yes,I am. B:So,you can take a break,go head. A:Gotcha.で可？

私のバージョンはこうです：
A: Well, that should pretty much do it. / OK, I think that's good enough.
B: Are you finished?
A: Yeah, I am.
B: OK, then go ahead and take a break!
A: All right, thanks. / Gotcha.

「That should do.」は６０年前とかに普通の英語だったと思いますが、現代には言ったらちょっとおかしいです。でも「That should do it.」は現代的な英語です。
