「drawing」は描いた絵という意味で、基本的に鉛筆、ペン、クレヨン、マーカー、などでしたら、drawingです。 「painting」はペイント（油、水彩、何でも）で描いた絵です。 ただただ色を塗った場合は「your child's coloring」あるいは「the picture your child colored」です。 「picture」はただ「絵」だけなので、そんなに「色を塗っただけ」を注目しません。 ちなみに「sketch」は鉛筆かペンで早めに描いた絵です。 Your child's painting will be projected on the screen. お子さまのペインティングはスクリーンに映ります。 Your child's drawing will be shown on the screen. お子さまの絵はスクリーンに見せます。 If you scan your child's painting, it will be projected onto the screen. 子どものぬり絵をスキャンすると、それがスクリーンに映し出される。
