You can use these words together to convey the combination of flavors. For instance you can say 'apple spice' or 'mango chocolate' to indicate flavors most simply.
If you are explainng that something tastes like something else then you would say it is flavoured so if it has melon flavour then you would say 'melon flavoured caramel' you could also say
'caramel flavoured with melon'
Whilst explaining a certain type of caramel, you wish to explain that the caramel had a melon flavour. Either of the above suggestions is good enough for that situation.
