  • There is no running hot water.

There is no running hot water. お店の人にクレイムを言う時に、「There seems to be no hot water in the showers. Can you please check it out?」(シャワーからお湯が出ないようです。

  • There isn't any hot water.

  • Is there a problem with the hot water tank today?

  • There doesn't seem to be any hot water.

"There isn't any hot water" is a simple statement and the easiest way of telling the right person that there is something wrong with the hot water. Example: Excuse me. There isn't any hot water. Can somebody look at it? "Is there a problem with the hot water tank today?" - This is a polite way of asking about the hot water but implying that there is a problem, without directly saying it's not working. A hot water tank is the system where the hot water is heated and produced, then stored ready to be distributed to outlets such as showers and other taps. Example: Hi, I've just tried to take a shower, but only cold water is coming out. Is there a problem with the hot water tank (today)? "There doesn't seem to be any hot water" - 'Seem to be' is a polite way of suggesting that you may be wrong, instead of saying your 100% certain there is a problem. Example: Hi there! I'm really sorry, I'm not sure that I'm doing right, but there doesn't seem to be any hot water. Can you help?
There isn't any hot water. Excuse me. There isn't any hot water. Can somebody look at it? "Is there a problem with the hot water tank today?"" Hi, I've just tried to take a shower, but only cold water is coming out. Is there a problem with the hot water tank (today)? "There doesn't seem to be any hot water"" - 'Seem to be'は丁寧に、何かを提案するひょうげんでもあります。 Hi there! I'm really sorry, I'm not sure that I'm doing right, but there doesn't seem to be any hot water. Can you help?"

  • Hot shower unit is not working.

We have no hot water here.

  • Is there any trouble with the hot water today?

  • I don't think there's any hot water in the showers today.

  • I noticed there's no hot water in the showers today. Do you know anything about this issue?

"Is there any trouble with the hot water today?" is an informal way of asking if there is an issue with the hot water, and letting the person you are talking to know that there is an issue. example: You: Is there any trouble with the hot water today? Gym Partner: I'm not sure, but I'll ask. "I don't think there's any hot water in the showers today." Is a slightly less formal way of letting the person you are talking to know that there is an issue with the hot water. example: You: I don't think there's any hot water in the showers today. Gym Partner: Thanks for letting me know! "I noticed there's no hot water in the showers today. Do you know anything about this issue?" this sentence is more formal and polite. You might talk to someone in charge of the hot water or maintenance in this way. You might also mention this to someone at the front desk. example: You: I noticed there's no hot water in the showers today. Do you know anything about this issue? Front Desk Worker/Maintenance Man: I had no idea! I'll have someone fix that right away. Thank you for telling me!
"Is there any trouble with the hot water today?" You: Is there any trouble with the hot water today? Gym Partner: I'm not sure, but I'll ask. "I don't think there's any hot water in the showers today." You: I don't think there's any hot water in the showers today. Gym Partner: Thanks for letting me know! "I noticed there's no hot water in the showers today. Do you know anything about this issue?" You: I noticed there's no hot water in the showers today. Do you know anything about this issue? Front Desk Worker/Maintenance Man: I had no idea! I'll have someone fix that right away. Thank you for telling me!

  • There is no hot water, has the geezer broken down?

  • The hot water showers aren't working, is the geezer off?

If there is no hot water, it means that the geezer is either faulty (broken down), or someone switched it off. Geezers have thermostats which switch off when the water in them has reached maximum temperature. They then automatically switch on again when the water has cooled. In business facilities such as gyms, they will normally let the geezer operate automatically than physically switch it on and off, for example, to save power costs. This does keep hot water running continuously unless a number of showers were operating at the same time, thereby depleting all the hot water that heated up. So, when wanting to find out as to what caused the hot water to run out, it would be proper to ask about the geezer's condition since that is the equipment that heats the water.

  • There's hardly ever any hot water here.

  • Why is it that your water is never hot?

  • I think the water for showers should always be hot. I never get any hot water

When you want to complain to the gym staff about the showers hardly having hot water, then you can say it in the following ways: -There's hardly ever any hot water here. -Why is it that your water is never hot? -I think the water for showers should always be hot. I never get any hot water
There's hardly ever any hot water here. Why is it that your water is never hot? I think the water for showers should always be hot. I never get any hot water
