プレゼントを買いにデパートへ行きました。
売れ筋のものを勧められました。
素敵なのですが「他にも見てから決めたい」と伝えてたいです。
Shop clerk:
How about this scarf? It's popular.
I: I'd like to look at other things, too.

２番の方は「もう少し他のを見てみる」みたいなことです。

もう少し丁寧な言い方を二つ用意してみました。
①もう少し見てみた上で決断してもいいですか？
look around a little more もう少し見て回る
make an informed decision 情報を得てからの決断
直訳するとちょっと堅苦しい言い方に聞こえてしまいますが、決してそんなことはありませんよ！
②お店を一周してから決めていいですか？
lap around the store お店を一周
get back to this one これに戻ってくる
こちらのほうが短く、簡単に伝わるかもしれません。
お店で話しかけられると助かる場合もありますが、緊張もしちゃってとっさの言葉が出てこないときもありますよね。これで少しでもお買い物しやすくなれば幸いです！
