I think "real time" has become more popular because it is often used in the computer world.
For example, "Google Maps shows city traffic jams in real time", meaning, at the same moment that something is happening.
If you want to use this as an adjective, I would recommend that you use a hyphen, like this: "real-time".
Example: "It was a real-time broadcast from the Olympic stadium."
However, words that are hyphenated like this often become just one word after a few years, like people today tend to prefer "online" instead of "on-line", so I think we will see "realtime" in the not-too-distant future.

Live が「生放送」という意味です。
日本ではバンドなどの生演奏を聞きことができるライブハウスがありますが、ライブハウスは和製英語なので英語では使わないように気を付けてください。Live show clubがライブハウスに相当します。
