事情って英語でなんて言うの？

「事情」下の単語使います。 ・circumstances ・conditions ・situation そんな事情 = such circumstances / those conditions / that situation. 知らなかった = I didn't know / I had no idea I had no idea of that situation. このフレーズは簡単に使います。 ご参考になれば幸いです。

「事情」は英語で「situation」または「condition」のような言葉と言います。けど、hyhoさんの言いたいことは、この言葉を使う必要がありません。 そんな事情があったとは知らなかった。 I didn't know that such a situation happened. --> （１）I didn't know that something like that happened. （２）I wasn't aware that something like that occurred. この二つの言い方の方がもっと自然だと思います。

1) situation (状態） I didn't know that there was such a situation. / I didn't know that there was a situation like that. そんな事情があったとは知らなかった。 2) circumstance (ある事件や人や行動などに関連する周囲の事情) I didn't know about that circumstance. （複数の場合）I didn't know about those circumstances. そんな事情があったとは知らなかった。 3) reason (理由） I didn't know there was that reason. / I had no idea about that reason. そんな事情があったとは知らなかった。 他にもありますが、この３つが一番よく使う言葉だと思います。この三つの中で私がよく使うのは１番ですが、全部使ってみてください！ お役に立てれば幸いです!
