「前任者」は簡潔な言葉で表現すると「Predecessor」になります。「[後任](https://eikaiwa.dmm.com/uknow/questions/3524/)者」は「Successor」となります。

ただ、正直に言いますと英語では仕事の場面であまり「Predecessor」や「Successor」を使わないです。Predecessorはただ「the person I replaced」あるいは「the person before me」、Successorは「my replacement」を言ったほうが圧倒的に多いです。

→ うちの前任者は会社辞めて世界の旅に出た。
前任者は「predecessor」になります。
