②Can we just grab a table?
ニュアンス的には、「適当に座っていい？」という感じです。
"Grab a table" = 「テーブルを取る」 をフランクにいった感じです。
"Just"を入れてるのは、「とりあえず」のような意味を込めるためです。入れないと、とてもストレートで厳しい感じがするかもしれません。
「Where should we sit?」
が定番の訳になるかと思いますが、
お店がガラガラでどこ座っても問題なさそうな感じであれば、
店員さんに、

From the look of things, there was no prior table reservation. In a case like this, and seeing that there are several of you to be seated, you have to ask a waiter to guide you to a table where you can all sit. This is why reserving a table well in advance is advantageous. If you had reserved a table, all you could have said would have been: We reserved a table for five, please guide to it. But in this case, you did not reserve a table. In which case you may have to ask and say:

テーブルを予約していない場合で、レストランに入ったら席がガラガラでどこでも座れるので、とりあえず店員さんに一声かけたい時に、次のように表現することができます。
"Where can we sit?"（どこに座っていいですか？）
"Can we sit anywhere since we did not reserve a table?"（テーブルを予約していないので、どこに座っていいですか？）
"Please guide us to where we can sit."（座わっていい席へ案内してください。）
テーブルを事前に予約することに利点はあります。もしテーブルを予約していれば、以下のように言うだけです：
"We reserved a table for five, please guide to it."（5名で予約しています。そちらへ案内してください。）
These are informal questions which someone entering a restaurant or cafe would ask the waiter or waitress when requesting a place to sit down. "Anywhere" is use to emphasize that it could be any of a large number of places. Wherever" means "any place" in this context. For example, on entering a cafe, you ask, "Excuse me, can we sit anywhere?"
some restaurants will assign you a table when you arrive. asking "will the waiter assign us a table?" is a good way to check if you can sit anywhere or not.
asking "can we just grab a table?" or "can we sit anywhere" is a more casual way to ask this.
