I've never really tried studying in a cafe before.
あえて完了形を使って言いたければ、こんな表現があります。
「〜したことがない」は、I've never tried 〜 before.ですが、「あまり〜したことがない」なら、reallyを添えればOKです。
上の例文のほかに、もう一つ自然な言い方も紹介しましょう。
「あまり喫茶店で勉強したことがない」という背景には、おそらく「人は喫茶店で勉強するのでしょうが」という比較の気持ちも含まれていると思います。Lots of people study in cafes, butを添えて、Lots of people study in cafes, but I've never really tried it before.という言い回しが可能です。
「経験」だから「現在完了形」を使わないと・・・
などと考えてしまうと英語がしゃべりづらくなってしまいますので
ご注意ください。
「したことがない」というのは「あまりしない」と言い換えたら
もっと簡単に表現できると思いました。
例えば・・・
I don't go to a cafe often to study.
勉強するためにカフェに行くことはあまりないです。
I usually don't study at cafes＝普段はカフェで勉強しない
I'm not the type to study at cafes＝カフェで勉強するタイプじゃない
「カフェで勉強する人＝一杯だけ頼んで長いする奴」や「カフェでパソコンで作業してる意識高め系な奴」と何かと反感を受ける事があるので「そう言うタイプじゃないよ」とアピールしたい時は是非こちらを（笑）。カフェで勉強くらいしたっていいと私は個人的に思いますけどね！
"I do not often study at the cafe." Means that it is not something you do all of the time.
"I have only studied at the cafe a few times." Means that the number of time you have been there is very small.
"Few" means not many.
I do not often study at the cafe.
今までしたことがないことであるこ意味します。
I have only studied at the cafe a few times.
費やした時間が非常に短いことであるという意味です。
「Few」はあまり多くないということを意味します。
In the UK, studying in cafes is not a current habit with the majority of people - neither is it a habit that has much attraction this side of Asia. In the UK we generally prefer to clearly separate study and social life on the basis that you may do better at both if your whole concentration is focussed on one thing. Cafes are not good places for lessons due to background noise, possible interruptions and suspect video connections. However you may still explain:
"I do English lessons in an internet cafe."

I have studied at a cafe before, but I don't usually.
You may want to elaborate on why and you could simply say you prefer to study where it quiet such as at home or the library. Or if you could say "I haven't done it much before but it can be nice to study in a library."
理由について詳しく伝えたいなら：
"I prefer to study where it is quiet such as at home or the library."
（家や図書館のような静かな場所で勉強したほうがいい）
もしくは：
"I haven't done it much before but it can be nice to study in a library."
（あまりやったことはないけど、図書館で勉強をすると良いかもしれない）
