英語で「三人称単数」は、「the third person singular」と言います。

（例）
"Gives" should be used only in the third person singular.→「gives」は三人称単数のみで使われるべきです。

"Has" is the third person singular of the verb "to have".→「has」は動詞「have」の三人称単数形です。

「he」や「she」、「it」については、

the thing or the person is called third person singular in English grammar.

もしあなたがモノについて、または会話にいない人について話しているのであれば、英文法でそのモノ、または人は三人称単数と言います。
三人称単数はthird person singularと言います。多少語弊があるかもしれませんが、上のように言えば三人称単数がわかりやすいと思います.。
