人々の people's 考え方 opinions/attitudes 二極化 polarisation/divison してきている are being 「二極化」は基本的で polarisation になるのですが、divide （分ける）もこの場合でよく使われている表現になります。 「極端に物事を考える人が増えている」というのは The amount of people thinking about things in extreme/radical ways is increasing で言えます。 参考になれば幸いです。
