3つの言い方を紹介します。意味はほぼ一緒で、言い方が微妙に違うだけです。
“Sometimes it is necessary to scold your child.” - 「たまには子供を厳しく叱る必要がある」
To scold - 叱る
“There are times when it is necessary to discipline your child.” - 「子供を躾けることが必要な時もある」
To discipline - 躾ける
“Sometimes you have to be strict to discipline your child.“ - 「たまには子供を躾けるには厳しくならないといけない」
Strict - 厳しい
Even if it is to a small child, matters concerning life and death or people's dignity should be taught strictly.
