"Talking on your phone while riding a bike is dangerous." 携帯電話で話す→Talking on your phone、自転車に乗りながら→while riding a bike、危ない→dangerousと訳し、上述の文章になりますね。

  • It is dangerous to use a phone while riding a bike.

《各部の意味》 It is dangerous→...は危険です to use a phone→携帯電話を使うこと while riding a bike→自転車に乗りながら ★ bike Ken Rose さんも説明されていますが、bike について少しお話しさせてください。 英訳例では「to use a phone while riding a bike」がこれに当たります。 《例》 It is dangerous and irresponsible to use a phone while you are driving.→運転中に携帯電話を使うのは危険ですし、無責任です。

1. You say this person will kill themselves (because of this dangerous activity). 2. You express your hope that this person is insured (as you are predicting they will have an accident). It may be humorous depending on the speaker's body language and facial expression 3. You predict that this person will cause themselves serious injury and enquire at what stage they would like you to call an ambulance. This is a sarcastic comment. It may be humorous depending on the speaker's body language and facial expression.

"You're are taking risks with your life." You are indifferent to the possibility of dying. This person is negligent with their life. "You are toying with death." In this sentence "death" is personified as something you can play with. This means that person doesn't care about dying.
"You're are taking risks with your life." "You are toying with death."

  • Hey! Pay attention to the road!

There are so many ways to tell someone that riding a bike and using their cellphone is dangerous. You can always yell, but that too can be dangerous. Because a person is going by you so quick, an easy way to get your message across would be to say, "Pay attention!" They will know what you are talking about. If it is a friend who does this you can just tell them, "You'll hurt yourself one day if you continue to ride your bike and use your phone."
"You'll hurt yourself one day if you continue to ride your bike and use your phone."(自転車に乗りながら携帯電話を使っているといつか怪我をするよ。)

  • It's dangerous to use your phone whilst cycling.

You could tell the person "You shouldn't talk on your phone whilst riding your bike." To tell someone they shouldn't do something means that it is prohibited or not acceptable. You could also tell them "It's dangerous to use your phone whilst cycling.". Dangerous means that it is something that will cause possible harm to a person or those around them.
【例】 "You shouldn't talk on your phone whilst riding your bike." 【例】 "It's dangerous to use your phone whilst cycling."

  • Never use a mobile phone while riding a bicycle because it is dangerous.

Some people like acting dangerously, such as talking on the phone while riding a bicycle, holding the bicycle handle with one hand and holding the phone with the other hand. You can't control the bicycle properly with one hand. Should anything happen, you can be thrown off the bicycle and get severely injured. So, you may say to the person who is doing that: It is dangerous to use a mobile phone while riding a bicycle. or Never use a mobile phone while riding a bicycle because it is dangerous.
It is dangerous to use a mobile phone while riding a bicycle. Never use a mobile phone while riding a bicycle because it is dangerous.
