長押しする＝hold down the button, press down the button
Press the button だけだとただボタンを押すということなので、そのまま押した状態を保つと言う説明をするには、hold it down というふうに言えば伝わります。Press the button 以外にも Push the button とも言えるので、Keep pushing the button down でも大丈夫です。
