I'm interested in horse racing but I don't know much about the horses (that have been) entered in the race so I don't know which ones to bet on. 「競馬に興味があるけど、出場している馬のことがよく知らないから、どれにかけていいかわからない。」 「競馬」は horse racing 「出場する」は enter を使って horses that have been entered in the race「レースに出場する馬」と言えます。 または horses that are running in the race「レースで走る馬」のように run を使っても表現できます。 ご参考になれば幸いです！
