「振り付け」は choreography と言いますが the dance でも「踊り」という意味なので memorize the choreography または memorize the dance どちらも「振り付け（踊り）を覚える」という意味になります。
苦労した、難しかったというには have a hard time や it was hard や it was difficult と言います。
ちなみに四人で苦労したとのことなので I ではなく We を使った方が良いです。We had a hard time memorizing the choreography となります。
