終電はthe last trainです。
英語で「最後の前」という意味を表現するときよく「the second to last ~」または「the ~ before last」と言います。

The train before the last train
終電の前の電車
The one before the last train
終電の一本前
一番自然な言い方はthe second to last trainですのでぜひお使いください。

「終電の一本前」というのは、the train before the last trainとなります。
終電はthe last trainといい、一つ前はbeforeを使っています。
この表現でtrainが2回出ていますが、そのまま使ってもいいし、2つ目のtrainをoneに変えてもいいです。

また、the second to (the) last trainという表現もあります。
second to the lastは「最後から2番目の」という意味です。
例) 終電の一本前で家に帰りました。
I went home on the train before the last one.
I went home on the second to the last train.
