寂しいは英語で lonely と言いますが、お別れの時はこのフレーズの方がいいと思います:
I will miss you
別れたら寂しくなる、すぐ会いたくなると言う意味です
I will miss you so much -すごく寂しい （すごく寂しくなる)
Lonely はもう別れてすでに寂しさを感じている時に使います。
I broke up with my girlfriend last week and I feel so lonely right now - 先週彼女と別れて、今はすごく寂しい
