動かして見せると言う意味を単語一つにまとめた英語はないと
思いますので動かすと見せるの単語が別々になります。
どういう仕組みなのか見せると言う場合は give a demonstration
という表現を使うのが良いかもしれません。
「おじいさんが川でそのボートを動かして見せてくれました」
"The old guy moved the boat and showed it to us"
もしくは
"The old guy gave us a demonstration of the boat moving" など

公の場で見せる、披露するとなればdemonstrate という単語が思い浮かびます。
