すれすれで通るって英語でなんて言うの？

あの車、すれすれだね。
あの車、壁にすれすれでよく通れたね。
と言いたいです！

That car was almost touching the wall ...
のように almost touching を使って「すれすれ」を表現できます。

例えば駐車場などで、「あの車隣の車にすれすれだね。」と言うなら、
That car is parked right next to the one beside it.
のように right next to を使って言えます。

例：
That car was almost touching the wall on the side of the street when he passed by the other car.
「あの車、別の車とすれ違う時に、道路脇の壁すれすれだったよ。」
